Hi.
My name is Olabisi (a.k.a. Bisi) Adeyi and I am a
Christian who loves the Lord. I have been a Christian
for over 20 years. By the grace of God, I enjoy the
goodness of God in my life and I am sure of my identity
in Christ. A long time ago, I realized that people with
problems who are hurting gravitated towards me.
Initially, I saw it as a burden trying to encourage them
to trust God. As I matured in Christ, through the help
of the Holy Spirit, I realized that I have the ministry
of encouragement. As I embraced this calling to
encourage others, I have seen the manifestation of God’s
healing and transformations in the lives of people. Like
Paul said, Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to
have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting
what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I
press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God
has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Philippians
3:13-14.
Since
I graduated from the university with a degree in
Political Science, I have worked as a computer analyst,
operated my own business making wedding gowns, gone to
nursing school and worked as a Registered Nurse. All my
life, I have been writing. Early in my Christian life, I
became involved in ministering to children. I have
written curriculums for children and have a website
esetapart.com
where people can download the curriculums free. For a
period of time since moving to Canada,
I was a
stay home mom who enjoyed working on the computer doing
desktop publishing, web designs, producing graphic
designs for my family, ministry, church and friends.
Another passion is photography; creating digital art
as I call it. Presently, I am
still ministering to children
and looking forward to going back to school.
I was
born and raised in
Lagos,
Nigeria.
Since I have been married, my family has lived in two
cities each in Nigeria, United States of America and
Canada. Though I jokingly tell people, the next city is
Sydney,
Australia.
However, we moved to the third city
in Canada summer of 2011. So until
the Australia move happens, I am staying planted here and
flourishing like the palm tree... being a blessing in
every area of my life. Presently, I live in
Mississauga, Ontario with my husband,
Dele, and our two teenage children, Bimisayo and
Bimisola. My family has always been there with me right
from the beginning and I am deeply appreciative of the
enthusiastic encouragement and support they provide
every step of the way.
